Yesterday, Papa was saying that he didn't want to sleep cos he wanna wait up for Santa =___=||
I told him (gently, I didnt want to hurt his feelings =X) that santa claus will never come.
Firstly, Santa goes into houses through chimneys.. where in the world can you find a chimney in my house?
He retorted that Santa climbs through rubbish chutes nowadays -_____-
Papa even wanted to leave a huge bucket of milk for Santa. Lol.
Cos I told him that in stories, people usually leave him a plate of cookies and a glass of milk.

Work was great today! Cos it's half day! WOO~
But I feel unwell.. so it's quite kns for me hahaha.
Then again received alot of presents.. so I cant feel TOO bad.. right? =))))

Anyway, went to this new KTV place at bugis yesterday...
Quite a bad experience.. even though the facilities are supposedly better than the other ktvs'.
Maybe it's cos we suay ba? lol.

And the stupid kns woman didnt tell me that we could sing from 11am to 7pm.
FYI we arrived at 2pm. Grr. Resa was expressing her unhappiness to the staff there about "lugi-ing" 3 hrs. hahhhaa.
The guy (who looks like my sissy's bf) was stumped =X

Anyway their drinks are free flow but it SUCKS.
machiam like syrup.
The next time I'm going there, I'm bringing 1.5L bottle of plain water so I can mix the drinks tgr. haaa smart ba! =/
They actually provide pillows there and the "KIDS" I went with were all fighting over them (3 pillows in total, 6 "kids" =/)

We spent 1+ hour doing admin stuffs like figuring out how to use the system and trying to off the echo on the mic and this machine which would not stop spraying out cloudy, smelly air. :s

Overall it was quite fun la.. even though the PK competition was... not a PK in the end? Lol.
Think yq & resa were the only ones thinking of strategies HAHA.

Spoke to senior HT a few nights ago.
OMG he is still as funny as ever.

We were talking about TMS (my sec sch) and when I told him that Ms Tang is retiring, he went (quite) agitated all of a sudden.

It turned out that when we were in Sec sch, Ms Tang told him that he would "grow up to be an outstanding engineer".

He is indeed persuing his engineering degree now, but he is failing (according to him) =/
And he said Ms Tang cheated him LOLL!!!!

Talking to him makes me miss those times in TMS =(
Then again, I've been missing TMS times since 2004. Heh.

The christmas spirit is in the airrrrrrr~~~
It has been a long time since I'm so excited about christmas.

We went Mind's cafe! The games were.. okay la =/
At one point we were so sian that after we arrange the pieces on the board, we decided to keep the game and play another one. haha.
Then I seeked Jies's help for suggestions on what to play.
And it was fun! Eh it's called Sabotage game I think.
It seemed quite difficult to play at first cos there were alot of things to take note, but once we got the hang of it, it was fun ^^

They'll also be at the countdown party which starts at 7pm!!!! (tks to caryndidi for the info =D)

It finally got through my stupid, thick head that we can never go back to how we used to be.
I guessed that throughout these 6 mths, I've been holding onto this tiny hope that we can go back to the times when everything was still okay between us. Best of friends.

But hey, we cannot turn back the time.
Sometimes, when something is gone.. it's gone forever.
Like the bond between us. How we used to know what each other was thinking and feeling. We could just sense it.
But now.. it's gone.. And something tells me that it is forever.

I can't seem to put in words what I'm really feeling now..
What I can say is I've never felt so weird talking to you before..
Oh man.. I think I'm beginning to regret about the call..
Just hearing your voice is torturous enough.
Having to face the fact that our chemistry is really gone and there's no more hope left...
seriously, I dont know what I'm going to do.
Then again, there's nothing I can do except to forget that you exist and BE HAPPY.

I'm super happy today!
Cos everyone's home AND mommy's cooking our lunch and dinner~WOO~
For those who don't know, she has been working till 10pm for the past few mths, and today's one of the rare days when she stay home and cook~

Yesterday was jikit's finals at IMM~
two words: she rocks~
And her uni friends and family and poly friends (ME included! =x) were a great cheerleading team OK =D
we rock too HAHA~

Anyway went IMM at around 12+ to see xin guang bang, but it took so long for them to appear that we went to watch golden compass in the end.
Nice but Enchanted is nicer~ (plus the tix were free LOL)

There's this donut shop call.. E-donuts? or smth like that.
the donuts are SO BAD o.o
Trust me, I'm not a picky eater (thus my size)
But the donuts were really damn kanasai =/
Especially after trying donut factory and Vinco donuts (eh it's the donut place at vivo..hope I got the name correct =/)

Btw, I think I'm losing interest in blogging wahahha~

Oo and I hope I can meet up with Dovercolleagues on 21st!!

Today is such a horrible day.

I really dont know whether to cry or laugh.

Dreams

The latest entry in Rickson's blog (1stDec07 entry) mirrors what I thought before.
About the "I wonder what would they say about me if I died?"

I dreamt of my funeral the other day.

Okay before I talk about that, I've been having having ALOT of dreams for the past few weeks. And the amazing thing is, if I sleep with my head facing the fan, I'll remember my dreams. And if I sleep with my head facing the other direction, I'll not remember my dreams. -_-

I've tried and tested okay. scary :s

Anyway, I dreamt that I was at my funeral. There werent any pictures of me and neither did I see my body (THANK GOODNESS). But I knew that it was my funeral. My family and all my friends were there, talking about me and the things we did together when I was alive. As if I werent there. But the fact was that I was there.. in spirit. that's why they couldn't see me. yucks.

After I woke up, I realised that is what I want my family and ALL my friends to do at my funeral.. gathering and reminiscing about the past "adventures" we had together. Even green coke...

I talk as if I'm gonna die soon. *TOUCH WOOD*

the other two dreams I had recently were about kidnapping (my bro sis and me) and about me not completing my work and was fired. I panicked when I woke up and sms-ed my colleague and asked her if I completed my work. Lucky I did. hahhaha~


Work is getting less exciting, but nevertheless, I'm so glad I have my nice colleagues =)
There's also ah ni's concert on tuesday which I cant wait~~

One thing.. just one thing can dig out so so So much memories.
To think I thought they were erased from my mind.

A few of my friends have done it.
But... does letting go mean you don't hurt anymore?

Even when every single thing you do reminds you of that person and memories keep playing in your mind 24/7..
yet you dont feel any sharp pangs in your heart?

What I know is that when I act happy and laugh and talk and joke around, I feel like I am really happy. Lol.

I guess I should be thankful that my life is so busy right now that I dont even have time to breathe, let alone time to thinktoomuchie.

And I am thankful that I have my wonderful friends (who are mostly busy mugging/doing projs/ORD-ing at the moment xD) and super nice dover colleagues AND my super nice current-job's colleagues AND super duper ultra OMG nice KKH AND nice sistic ppl (bro included) AND of cos other ppl like AHMING, cheryl, daniel, zixin, xin (tho I havent seen them since 400 yrs ago? Okay I shall tell you guys the whole story *takes a deeeeeep breath*

After the maintenance of the program was over, I basically chiong-ed my way through the last minute stuffs, praying constantly that I'll finish everything before 7pm (her arrival time).
And miraculously, I finished everything at 7.01pm!
I swear someone from above was answering to my prayers hahaha~
Chiong-ed over to the other office to listen to 933 AND SHE WAS ON AIR! (on time! woo~)
I flew down to hand in my stuffs and flew up to the studio with her CD and my cam.

I thought that they wouldn't allow her to sign the album.
毕竟 tomorrow is then her autograph session...
But NICE Chong Qing (Yes 933 DJ) saw me outside and I gestured that I wanna have my album signed.
He then asked the other DJ (Mu Tong?) to get the album from me~~

Mu tong is super nice too lar!
As I passed him the cd, he asked if I wanna let her sign on my own!
OF COURSE LAR OMG.
I then walked in and stood beside Liang Jing Ru while she autographed.
AND SHE SAID HI TO ME :D

OKAY I was so excited that I forgot to thank Mu Tong before I went out =/
Then Caryn (my nice colleague1) stayed with me for awhile till Candida (my nice colleague2) came.
While waiting for LiangJingRu, Candida and I went to take pics with Chong Qing xD
Shouldnt post it here cos I look disgusting in it. LOLLL.

Fish leong is so nice ^^ She actually shook hands with both of us after taking the pic. hahhaa.
And we took the same lift together too~

I am SO relieved that I haven't buy my 2008 calendar book.

Oh, and the reason I can blog now (during work) is cos the program is under maintenance. Which basically means we can't do anything. I can literally see the workload piling up in front of me -_- Stacks of papers to go through blahblah.

Woke up at 5.58am.
Felt kinda pissed off that I woke up so early on my OFF day. Grr.

Met kY and made our way to Suntec to meet Jies for k-lunch!~
k-lunch's food was quite bad o.o
It was basically skinFULL fish. and UNsweet honeydew. and UNcooked mushrooms o.o

K-ing with them was full of laughter and... more laughter. lol.
But I'm always full of laughter with the two of em. *hugs*
I am so glad that kY and Jies hit it off and don't hate each other =X
I used to have this fear of my friends hating one another you know.. scary to be sandwiched.. though I bet I'll make a good, fatty, juicy meat in between em.

Anyway... kY went off after we met XIAO LAN (Nat :D) at bugis.
And we went V8 movie cafe~
Kit joined us and woohoo~ We went kino and OMG.
Saw the mayday book and wanted to buy it IMMEDIATELY after I hold it in my arms hands.
But the price made me ponder.

I know that I'll buy it in the end.. but haha. at least I'm not making impulse purchase.
And I shall calculate how many lunches I have to skip to pay for the book (:

For the past few days, I had been slogging my ass off.
Goodness.. I'm beginning to have a love-hate r/s with public holidays...
PH is good, cos can rest.
PH is bad, cos there is extra work to do which = stay late.
But of course PH can never win pH. lala~

For the next four days, I'm going to enjoy myself thoroughly before I go back to work.
Heh. Do I sound like I hate my job?
Neh.. I don't okay. In fact, I quite like it =)
One of the reasons is cos time passes by super fast when I'm buried in the mountains of work.. and it leaves no time for me to think about unnecessary stuffs. haha. I dont even have time to eat! (which is gd =P)

Generally, my colleagues are friendly and nice (:
I think I'm quite fortunate to be in this working environment, where everyone is willing to help me when I'm in need (which is like, ALL THE TIME =x)
And I'm especially thankful to have three colleagues whom I can click with~

Venue: Victoria Concert Hall

There are 2 parts to the concert. The first part is a concert which includes several choirs. As for what choirs, it's still in pending mode~ The second part is a musical in relation to Christmas~

Some info on the choir:

"Since 1987 (gd year! cos I WAS BORN! :D), the SFX Youth Choir has made significant progress in its mission to use song to touch the mystery of God. Under the directorship of Mr. Denis Leong (he's a D.M too! Denis,Mr. :D), the choir strives to be a Catholic community of disciples with choral singing as its main medium of witnessing.

The choir achieved several milestones in the recent years. We clinched our first Gold Award (Senior Youth Category) at the 21st Century International Choral Festival at Genting Highlands, Malaysia, in Decmeber 2003 and successfully completed our 1st foreign musical-cum-faith-formation tour to Malacca in Decmeber 2002.

On 7 August 2005 (hey kY! your bday!), the choir was selected to sing at the Unveiling Ceremony of the 'Let there be peace' statue by Singapore's President Nathan (wOw!) at the Istana. This statue was designed by the famous United Nations Peace Ambassador, Alexandra Nachita who was visibly moved by the choir's music.

The choir actively enriches itself spiritually through weekly faith-formation sessions, twice-yearly retreats, weekly consecrations to Jesus and Mary, and it also vigorously promotes a regular and committed prayer life for all its members. The choir continually explores new pedagogy in choral singing through workshops by internationally renowned choral conductors and voice masters, and through participating in choral exchange programmes with other choirs.

Dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the 40-strong Youth Choir (ah-ni is one of em!!! =D) seeks to scale greater heights in the service of God and Church. "

I even work DURING lunch, that's how pathetic my life is.
And the amazing thing is... the pile of work can never be cleared!
I haven't even finished half of my work and new stuffs just add on to it.
Sheesh...

One VERY important lesson I learnt from one of my new colleagues.
DON'T work late unless it's urgent. Or you'll regret it.

It's not like projects, where we'll be free after the datelines.
The datelines are never-ending.
Even if I take leave, I'd have to do double work the day before/after my leave.

Read through the entries for the past few days and I realised that I never update about my (non)cake.

Yes, it's another failure.
This time round, it's an beyond failure.
It's failure failure failure failure ultimate failure o.o
It's (very)embarrassing to say it here.. but I still want to. =/
Hopefully 50 yrs down the road, (if i'm still alive), I would look back and laugh at this experience.
*sniff*

Basically, it was a no-bake cake, meaning you dont have to put it in the oven to bake.
I dont know if it's the recipe problem (I HOPE =X) or my own problem (most probably -_-).
I was supposed to put the (non)cake into the refrigerator to cool + harden it overnight.
I put it in there for 3 days and.. IT NEVER HARDENED.
*faints*

The whole cake was jelly-like (I SWEAR it wobbles o.o) and when I tried to cut it, it's like cutting.. yogurt. o.o
BRAVE bro tried some of it and OMG. He said it tasted like condensed milk.
HAHHAHAAaaaa.
I tried abit and it tasted like sour (spoilt? =x) condensed milk
Mommy doesnt even dare to go near it (thanks ar mommy =x)

I threw two whole (non)cakes away...
It hurts, cos it's like throwing my hard-earned money away.
AWwwww. Ok Please promise me that you'll not tell anyone about my (un)cake.
It's utterly embarrassing and the reason I dare to blog it here is cos I know many of my friends don't read my blog.

Through my (un)cookies and (non)cake, I hereby conclude that I don't belong in the kitchen -_- Maybe by the sink only. (to wash dishes. bleah.)
But I'll still cook. Esp. my fav fried egg + potato slices. yumsssss~

Sissy and I are not on speaking terms.
The computer is infested with viruses and has alot of problems (like going to sleep mode suddenly). yet she doesnt really care.

I dont know if it's coincidence or WHAT, but everytime she uses the comp to play her sh*t games, the virus alert thing will pop up after that.

And so I, kph, made my first batch of (un)cookies two nights ago.
I call it (un)cookies cos it doesnt look and taste like cookies at all.
wahaha. failure =X

anyway it's no-bake cookies. Cos I dont have oven. sob.

I have to clarify that this is the first time I'm making food-related stuffs by myself in.. 6 yrs? After sec2's home econs Pizza, I stopped making/baking/cooking anything. Not counting maggie mee of course. Oh and not counting the fried rice and vegetables that mommy made me fry a few yrs/mths (??) ago. Cos she was there to supervise me in case I burnt the house down o.o

But heyyy, the (un)cookies turned out.. Okayyyy laaa.. =X
Quite sweet though.

I know I can't be compared to my darling uni friends.. who confirm, guarantee, chop sleep much much lesser than me...

But I can't help complaining.. I AM SO TIRED. Zzzzzz...


Anyway, my heart is broken.

Scenerio 1: I was at a medical checkup (free de ok =X) and this nurse attempted to take my blood (for blood test. duh.)
BUT SHE COULDN'T FIND THE VEIN.
After approximately 5 mins (or more), I got super worriend and asked, "issit cos I'm too fat, so you cant find my vein?"

She laughed and continued looking for the vein.
HELLO? I waiting for answer leh.. but it never came. =(

Scenerio 2: I walked past mac at tampines interchange and saw something that turned my world upside down. A "60-cents ice cream cone" poster.

Can you hear me screaming KANASAI?
omigosh. what will happen to my trademark sentence "I treat you to mac 50cts ice cream" now??
Even though I heard (from jies, i think) that the ice cream has changed to 60cts and it sounds weird to say "60cts ice cream" (such a mouthful), nothing beats seeing the truth with my very own eyes.

sob.

maybe I should change it to, "I treat you to 20cts marmee biscuits". cheaper too!
