(un)cookies
And so I, kph, made my first batch of (un)cookies two nights ago.
I call it (un)cookies cos it doesnt look and taste like cookies at all.
wahaha. failure =X
anyway it's no-bake cookies. Cos I dont have oven. sob.
I have to clarify that this is the first time I'm making food-related stuffs by myself in.. 6 yrs? After sec2's home econs Pizza, I stopped making/baking/cooking anything. Not counting maggie mee of course. Oh and not counting the fried rice and vegetables that mommy made me fry a few yrs/mths (??) ago. Cos she was there to supervise me in case I burnt the house down o.o
But heyyy, the (un)cookies turned out.. Okayyyy laaa.. =X
Quite sweet though.
Comments from people who ate: Too sweet, Too much oat, too much peanut butter.
The cuter ones are:
- I dont like oatmeal, can use cornflakes next time?
- Why the shape/colour so unappetizing de?
- WHY LAO4 HONG1 one?
LOL. I actually use this mould to make a heart-shaped one for tiff. But after I put it in the fridge, it BROKE o.o So I guess it's a sign I shdnt give that to her, or she might break my heart (or vice versa) HAHA.
And I am still waiting for someone to get stomachache cos of the (un)cookies.
So far no one complains leh..
Then again, YF is not here (at work) today.....

and hearing Tiff talked about her course makes ME wanna go for it. woohoos. Esp. the parts about literature and highlighting and memorising the lines. It thrills me to death.
Ok maybe not death lar. kua zhang =x
And jies~ my movie partner :D She always has entertaining stories to tell me whenever we meet. I think I can write a book call "Jies's series of unfortunate events", starring Jies and bus drivers and slippers. =/

tired and heartbroken
I'm sooooooo tired...
SOooooooooooooooooooooooooo tireeeeeeddd...
I know I can't be compared to my darling uni friends.. who confirm, guarantee, chop sleep much much lesser than me...
But I can't help complaining.. I AM SO TIRED. Zzzzzz...
Anyway, my heart is broken.
Scenerio 1: I was at a medical checkup (free de ok =X) and this nurse attempted to take my blood (for blood test. duh.)
BUT SHE COULDN'T FIND THE VEIN.
After approximately 5 mins (or more), I got super worriend and asked, "issit cos I'm too fat, so you cant find my vein?"
She laughed and continued looking for the vein.
HELLO? I waiting for answer leh.. but it never came. =(
Scenerio 2: I walked past mac at tampines interchange and saw something that turned my world upside down. A "60-cents ice cream cone" poster.
Can you hear me screaming KANASAI?
omigosh. what will happen to my trademark sentence "I treat you to mac 50cts ice cream" now??
Even though I heard (from jies, i think) that the ice cream has changed to 60cts and it sounds weird to say "60cts ice cream" (such a mouthful), nothing beats seeing the truth with my very own eyes.

maybe I should change it to, "I treat you to 20cts marmee biscuits". cheaper too!

Just found out that one of my close friends is going on an operation next week.

I think I'll worry till my friend sms me after the the operation -_-
Tell me not to worry.. bullshittttt. or cos will worry la my gosh cos it's my good friend leh!
Anyway I am in a bad mood now so I shall not blog or else I'll make everyone as irritated as me.

Dear Green coke,
It has been 93 days since I last talked to you, and 103 days since we last meet up.
(OK I cheated. I calculated the number of days using a calender and calculator :D)
How are you?
I hope you are fine. In fact, I hope you're more than fine. I hope you're feeling superbly wonderfully wonderful. Remember the last time I saw you? Well, I guess you don't, cos I RAN AND HID BEHIND A PILLAR so that you wouldn't be able to see me. I guess I succeeded, cos you never even look my way. And it also means that the pillar is huge enough to hide me. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
You were grinning as you waved good-bye to your friend and walked away.. thus I concluded that you were happy. But I can't help worrying about you sometimes. Is everything alright with your family? and the... problems.. are they solved? or worsened? or no improvement at all?
As I am typing this, the first song that I heard you sing begin to play on my computer. haa. memories. You once said that I influenced you to do alot of stuffs.. but I never got the chance to tell you that you influence me as well. Sometimes, after I do something, I'll realise that that is the way you would do it. And I would catch myself smiling away like an idiot.
And my fear of cats. (Almost) everyone knows that I fear them. And you actually taught me how to overcome the fear. I'm not saying that I DID overcome it (I didn't -_-), but everytime I see cats around, I'd think of you and what you said to me. There was once I did wad you taught me, and the cat actually ran away. *grins* Are you proud of me? But sad to say, I still run away first when I see cats nowadays. haa.
I can type a million words on what you said to inspire me, made me happy, sad, angry... But that is not necessary. Why put those memories into words when I know that things can never go back to what it was? I seriously don't know how things became the way they are today. We've turned from the bestiest friends to strangers overnight, for no reason at all. Is that what they call the end of fate between two persons?
The reason I'm typing all these is because I passed by the place you frequent today. I half prayed that I wouldn't see you. But the other half of me was praying like a pathetic fool that I would spot you in the crowd. My eyes searched hungrily (OK fine now even my eyes are hungry) through the crowd as I walked, but to my dismay (and relief), the familiar face never turned up.
I guess the main point of this pathetic letter is to tell you that I miss you. You may be weird (ooops =X), but you are a good friend. MY good friend. MY best friend. Remember how we used to say best friends forever? Where has the forever gone to?

I Miss School!
I smelt something fishy when two eating places of the same name seem to have nothing to do with each other.
Therefore, I, Private Investigator (P.I) pH, checked on them just now by calling both places (place A and B)
Place A just said, "oh we separated from the other one liao. Now we're on our own and has nothing to do with the other one."
However, I called the Place B and found out that the other (Place A) actually used their name without permission (duh).
And place B is now taking legal action! WOO! super cool. =X
This time P.I pH manage to find something juicy.
DAMN. I wanna be a journalist!! (for once)
I bet place B will succeed cos place A uses the exact name and it's selling exactly same stuffs as place A. and their customers (A.K.A me, kph) got confused which is which. HAHA. law rocks.
(Though I forgot ALL the correct/proper phrases to use and cases to refer to =x)
Think I shall go revise my law. (have Lots of time anyway -_-)
It can come in handy anytime anyday.

The life of a rich girl
I am forced to download msn live messenger -.-
I seriously hope it wouldn't lag/auto sign out like what happened to the 12839308928 people who told me "MSN LIVE MESSENGER SUCKS! $@!&@*@"
Anyway, I wasdaydreaming in deep thoughts today. What if I were born with a silver/bronze/gold spoon in my mouth? I might choke on the spoon or something, but that's not the point.
What if my family is rich? VERY rich?
Imagine Papa in formal clothes everyday (with tie and jacket and all)...
And mommy.. in blingbling jewellery and dazzling costumes.. and her hobby is to go out and show off to her other tai-tai friends what new stuffs her hubby bought for her.
Sissy, bro and I in branded clothes and shoes and socks and underwear (with diamonds and sequins YUCK) and bags and accessories.
We would live in 4-storey terrace house or-what-ever-you-call-it.
There would be a HUGE garden (mommy loves gardens) but no, she wouldn't tend to it herself cos she wouldn't want to dirty her freshly manicured fingers.
Instead, we would have 2 servants tending to the garden.
My siblings and I would have our own rooms equipped with every form of facilities you could think of, not to mention that my room would be purple (of course), Sissy's full of hello kitty and her PHOTOS (read: narcissistic), bro's full of i-don't-know-what.
Our house would be so big and spacious that you can run 2.4km in it, no probs.
Did I mention the 2 servants tending to the gardens?
They would be in charge of cleaning the house too.
2 other servants would be in charge of cooking. haaa.
And what would my mommy do?
Manicure and pedicure and HIGH teas and shopping and mahjong every single day.
Oh, and we would have chauffeurs to drive each of us to and fro places we want to go to.
NO MORE MRT AND BUS SQUEEZING WITH DEMENTORS.
YEssssSsssssssssssssssssssss.!
SO WHAT IF BUS FARE RISES AGAIN? None of my biz! :D
We would be so rich that there's no need for any of us to work (other than papa, that is.) I would just stretch out my hand and tada* $500 from papa. During school vacations, instead of slogging our hearts out at part-time jobs, we would, instead, fly to exotic countries and enjoy ourselves thoroughly together.
sigh. what a perfect family picture. (or Not)
Of course, I wouldn't be the peihui today.
I would be SPOILT, SPOILT and ultra SPOILT.
Would you want this kind of lifestyle?
Me: No thanks. I realised that I am contented with my current life, even though all of us have to work in order to survive. muahahas*
firstly, I cannot imagine papa with formal clothes everyday. omgggg. And I cant imagine mommy showing off. She's the most un-showoff woman I've ever known. period.
And I cant imagine siblings and I in branded clothes. Though I bet branded clothes confirm guarantee chop have my size =/
But the purple room I own (in my daydream) is.. super tempting =P
And the no-work life. omigosh.
Of cos I would not waste my life away at home. I would sign up for overseas CIP! AHH!!!!!

bad day
Came across one of my acquaintances' blog and in one of her entries, she mentioned.. him. Felt my lungs contract and suddenly, I was gasping for breaths and in the next moment, I died.
Okay I am joking.
I'm just in a bad mood now.
From the last night's nightmare to the realisation that I-forgot-to-wish-sissy-YiLuShunFeng-and-she-left-b4-I-woke-up to my tiredness to I-missed-my-bus-stop-cos-I-was-sleeping to I-nearly-miss-my-bus-stop to I-am-so-tired-now-I-can-sleep-standing-up.
And today is not even Tuesday =.=
Anyway, dearest Sissy left for Genting this morning.
One year ago, I was doing the same thing~
I HOPE SHE GETS MY CAR KEYCHAINs for me =D
(I asked her to buy 3, in case I lose it again.)
I am going to have the bedroom to myself tonight! and tomorrow night!
And I'm going to keep everything clean and tidy (i.e. put clothes hanger back to its original place blahblah) so that mommy will know that it's always SISSY who leaves things around and then she'll stop accusing/scolding me.

It's nice.. but the storyline is VERY predictable.

quality very bad -_-
Though some may say that she's trying to follow in Jolin's footsteps (aka copy), I'm still glad that at least her MTV still has the "cute" element in it. lol. not like jolin, which is COOL! all the way~ That is the main reason why I liked Cheng Lin so much.. cos she's cute =D
I got songs from her new album. hoho. So far I only like 3 songs o.o
And one of the songs sound abit like Jolin's type of songs.

I can still remember it was sec2, I replayed this song at least a hundred times.
Motive? To copy down the lyrics as I listened to Zhao Wei sing.
lol. The pH in sec2 doesnt know there's something call "using internet to search lyrics" =D
It was during the [huan zhu ge ge] era. muahahas.
And I got hooked to Zhao Wei & her songs.
The amazing thing is, I still have that hard copy lyrics that I wrote down..
cant bear to throw it away haha.. (no wonder so much rubbish in my room =/)
and I realised that ALOT of the lyrics doesnt telly with what she sang.
It's a miracle I didnt fail Listening compre =X
I also remember that I would record the 933's [xian2 ge1 ji4 yi4] on tape and replayed it, copying down the stories that the DJ (ling zhi) read, word for word.
SO HARDWORKING! =/
Those were the days before I rely on internet, msn, youtube, sms to pass my time. heh.
Those were the days when "in contact" means you talk and/or see each other..
Unlike now, which we use tools like msn, yahoo, friendster and the newest - facebook to keep in touch.
Anyway, talking about FACEBOOK, it's super lame!!! (but kinda fun at first)
There're vampires and werewolves. -_-
Someone (I forgot who) bit me and I was a werewolf.
Then another person bit me and I'm a vampire too =S
So what am I know? VamWolf? WerePire?
And I tried to figure out how to use that thing.. I played around with it for abt 1/2 hour and got bored le. lol..
Seems like I'm getting old for such stuffs liao =/
P.S: the reason I signed up is cos someone (i forgot who agaiN!!) said it's fun. hahahaha.

Oh yes, to those who know (and dont know), I went for another interview on monday.
It was the best interview I've ever had.
Cos.. It was in mandarin! lalalaaaaa.
I talked at ease and laugh and joke okays. omg.
Felt so relaxed.
But guess what?
I didnt go for the job in the end..
If this were an internship or short-term job, I'd go for it of course.
But it's not.
I know that this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
And I can learn TONS of stuffs (hands-on) if I take up the offer.
but.. I'm (quite) clear on what my priorities are, and that is not my first.
The interviewer was understanding, and even said that luckily I didnt agree just cos I wanna try out.. as it'll be wasting both her time and my time. lol. so st forward.
BUT I LIKE HER ATTITUDE! WAHAHHA. hope she wasnt cursing me in her heart O.O
And I hope no one will kill me for giving this opportunity a miss :D
I've thought long and hard before I come to this decision k =)
though I feel a tiny bit regretful.. but I know I'm doing the right thing haha.

SINGAPORE: An armed SAF National Serviceman was caught in Orchard Road at 8pm on Monday, 19 hours after he had gone missing from camp.
Police said the 20-year-old went missing at 11.59pm on Sunday from the Mandai Hill Camp, with a rifle and some ammunition issued by the army.
200 officers mounted a manhunt and police found him near Orchard Cineleisure.
They also recovered the missing rifle and ammunition and will investigate the case under the Arm Offences Act.
The Ministry of Defence has identified the NSman as Corporal Dave Teo Ming.
Mindef said he had been given the rifle and ammunition for guard duty.
He is an infantry rifleman from the First Battalion at the Singapore Infantry Regiment.
Corporal Teo was enlisted in the army in September 2005 and will finish his national service with the army next month. - CNA/ir

Attitude.
I realised that I have the tendency to give people the pissed-off attitude nowadays.
Which is not a good thing at all. =(
Of cos not towards my friends lar.. but more of towards.. strangers.
Like this ah-tiong*** that called my hp, asking me for "two mins to do a short survey"
think I easy to cheat is it?
I just told her irritatedly, "sorry Im not free" and hung up.
and today, I gave this another ah-tiong caller attitude when she called viv's hp.
that disgusting ah-tiong actually scolded me when I refused to ans her survey qns (on viv's behalf).
wa lao. but then I shouted at her okay (sort of la).
I think all this attitude is cultivated through the "dementors" that I meet on the bus everyday. haaaa.
Luckily these few days, I manage to catch this bus which has the least dementors. HA!
Feel super happy cans? even though I reach the office SUPER early la -___-
anyway, was trapped in the lift yesterday at my workplace.
TIAN AR.
Luckily this lady was with us in the lift, and she seemed super pro okay, machiam like she gets trapped in lifts every week. LOL.
For a moment, a scene from [final destination] flashed across my mind. the part where someone tried to climb out of the lift through a hole and then the head got "chopped" off when the lift suddenly moved. *shudders*
ANd I got lost again!
But lucky me saw this map and referred to it *hengs*
Or else I'd have walked in circles oops...
And thanks to ah ming, I manage to apply for the job that I want =)
Now I shall pray that I'll get it =(
And yes ah ming if i get it i'll give you commission de.

ANYWAY IT IS 60cts le lor! No more 50cts ice cream le!
