tgop girl's outing
Girls outing today~
As usual, I was very quiet.
pH is a shy girl you know *blush* =x
Kinda cool to meet so many of them in these past few weeks ^^
I had problems trying to get use and match the faces with the nicks. hahahha.
Nevertheless it was fun~
Everyone is so nice lar~
But I guess it'll take a few more outings for me to be comfortable with everyone.
Lol. Dont know why I'm so weird.. can't talk to ppl I know for the first time.. esp in grps =((

touching story
One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.' I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes .
My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives.' He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!' There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.
I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!' He just laughed and handed me half the books .
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown , and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.
He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship . Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous. Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!' He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. 'Thanks,' he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. 'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story.' I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little
smile. 'Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.' I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions.
With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.

Jay concert
Was quite a different experience from mayday's.. lol.
(details will not be organised and mostly in pt form =/)
He was quite interactive with the audience. Throwing his props to us la (not far enough to reach me =/), walking to the sides of the stage and sang to us la, and even coming down to the audience seats.. in return getting mobbed by them -_-
And I know most of the songs he sang leh! Even though I didn't really "study" for the concert >.<
Anyway Jies was higher than me ~ xD Haha~
Our section was super unhigh though. They shouted at us when we stood up. Boring~~~~
Everyone (in my section) only stands during encore.. Zzzz.
Jay kept making us wait in between songs.. he'll disappear after every 2 songs den some weird ppl will come perform lol..
Nan quan mama's lara is so chio!!
And the small-eyed guy is so cuteeee~
They also changed the lyrics of bu neng shuo de mi mi to some insulting jay song.. heh..
Highest song (in my opinion) was Yang Guang Zai Nan ba~
Most no. of ppl sang along was.. cai hong? I love cai hong =D
He sang tui hou and an jing too~ wooots~
But no hui dao guo qu =( my fav =(
I saw YF at the concert toO~~
We sat eh.. a few rows apart? LOL
Wanted to take pic with him but didnt in the end.. Next concert ba! =X
And I'm sorry I went off so quickly.. wanna catch my bus xD

The concert might be fake after all.
Zzzzzz.
My world came tumbling down when I found out..
The skies turn black.. my eyes don't shine anymore...
Everything in my life seems to be a waste..
I feel dead...
LOL drama =D
But was really sian ONE WHOLE when I found out the possibility -_-
talking about that, I dont understand why people say "sian 1/2".
Isn't one whole more.. WHOLESOME? o.O
Aiya it's gonna be another one of the question marks in my life.
Currently listening to GOP radio stn.
muahahhas. SC rocks~~
Cos he plays so many old and emo/sad songs ! ^^
and many of my fav songs like YUE LIANG DAI BIAO WO DE XIN.. =D
I'm gonna sign up to be backstage crew lol..should be fun to apply what I learnt..

But I'm gonna spend the whole day packing my room for CNY *roar*
Just bought a new cupboard~ I love it though it's not purple/pink.. cos it's spacious =D

Work is seriously killing me.
I've never ever been so confused before.
Even though my colleagues are confused as well, at least they were here when the transition happened.
And where was I?
Watching dvds in chalet with my friends.
LOL. I cant believe pauline laughed at me when I told her I spent my off days watching dvds.. in chalet.

New CPU
I think some people (read: kit and Jies =P) would be glad to know that...
I got a new cpu!!!!!
And there's this cable tt can connect it to the TV so that when I played shows using the pc, I can actually watch it on the tv screen. so cool la! But I don't think I'll ever do it LOL. too lazy le =D
Anyway Sissy and her poor bf searched the whole SLS and still could not find any pink cpu.
Boos.
Nvm la, as long as it works, any colour is okay =)
I'm thinking of finding someone to fix the old cpu and then connect it to my old monitor and *TADA. we'll have 3 comps and no one will have to fight with one another to use the comp and we'll be happy forever and ever THE END.
I got a new cpu!!!!!
And there's this cable tt can connect it to the TV so that when I played shows using the pc, I can actually watch it on the tv screen. so cool la! But I don't think I'll ever do it LOL. too lazy le =D
Anyway Sissy and her poor bf searched the whole SLS and still could not find any pink cpu.
Boos.
Nvm la, as long as it works, any colour is okay =)
I'm thinking of finding someone to fix the old cpu and then connect it to my old monitor and *TADA. we'll have 3 comps and no one will have to fight with one another to use the comp and we'll be happy forever and ever THE END.

The past few days at chalet had been SLEEP. WATCH DVD. EAT. WATCH DVD. EAT. WATCH DVD. SLEEP.
In that order. Heh. I love this relaxed life man~

Jies Kit Nat & Tiff came to the chalet yesterday! ^^
Nat didnt stay but Awww.. was so touched she came just to have dinner with us. hahahah.

(abit late I know.. but aiyo who cares =X)
Moments worth mentioning in 2007:
1) Graduated from TP CMM..
with my mommy and her friend waving to me when I stepped on the stage to collect the cert. HAHA.
2) Got to know super nice dover colleagues
And I'm still loving them!
3) Didnt get into Uni.
Was kinda depressed at first.. then I realised that even though that door closes, it's not the end. It's NEVER the end until you give up! That same door might open again this year! woo! Even if it doesn't, there's always PT degree.but of cos I must be disciplined enough to get gd grades la =P
4) Had one of best birthdays!
Cos I managed to have my family and (almost) all my bessies celebrating with me ^^ Though it's different place and time. haha.
5) Got my first shortest haircut since p5
Very short ok! ok la it touched my shoulders. heh. but it's still very short
6) Found a job with nice environment ;)
I LOVE my workplace! hehe
7) Got my first bonus and spent it all within one week =X
Firstly it's very little and 2ndly I spent it on my family ok!! =D
8) Went to quite a no. of performances (concerts/plays/musicals)
MAYDAY concert! phantom,hit awards, first intimate contact, Tiff's concert.. I think there're more leh.. but cant seem to remember =X
9) Given up!
Lets just say that I'm glad things are the way they are right now =)
Alright there might be many other stuffs that I missed out.. but erms.. Life is much more than digging out memories Lol. I shall go watch Coffee Prince (AT LAST) now. WOOHOO! Thanks to saf for lending me the dvd! And thanks to Jies for giving me the shows! HOHOHOHO.

P.P.S: I dont bother to make resolutions cos my resolution is ALWAYS the same every year and I NEVER fulfill it. But what the heck.. I HOPE I WILL BECOME SLIMMER =D thanks jason I'll try out your method. haha.
