I went for rebonding and highlight today... thanks cheny for introducing that nice place :) First time I chatted so much with a hairdresser sia. usually I'll be busy trying not to cry or be nervous whenever I got a hair cut.... My hair is short(er) again.. but at least it's straight. lol.

wanted to highlight light brown at first...but the hairdresser said it wun b obvious and wun b nice.. so he intro smth... lighter... and see pic below on how my hair turned out in the end.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. This is the first time in my whole entire 21yrs of living that I did such a bold thing la!. Mommy nagged at me when she saw my hair. but luckily she said it's not (that) ugly. Lol. I'm now officially a gim-moh golden monkey ah lian.

I quite like it though...just need to tk some getting used to lol.

1) MAYDAY WAS ON YES 933 LAST FRIDAY, 12/12.
This was actually a very happy news. But guess where I was at that time?

To think that when I heard from my colleague (xinru) that she now agrees that MASA is cute cos she saw him YAWNING and WAVING (very cutely *sniff*) last fri, I thought she was lying to me abt them being here.
I digress abit. Thanks to my darling colleagues (namely Mag,xiaoru(xinru),lokewan(caryn) and 玉女 (Pauline)) for your sweet msgs on my computer screen. *touched* HAHHHA. I wanted to tk a pic and upload.. but you all know me la... I take like 500 yrs to upload pics xD

2) I LOST MY $50 VOUCHERS
I tried killing myself with my long ruler when I realised (to my horror), that I REALLY lost the vouchers. Sadly, the ruler went through my armpit instead and i'm still alive. (it's most probably stinking right now xD).
I searched high and low (3x through my desk at home and 2x at office desk and 5x through my bag.) but still couldnt find themmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
$50 leh!!!!!!!!! *heart breaking***

Last seen:
at sistic two saturdays ago when I was packing my bag during my shift.
Possibilities:
-Someone picked them up and spent all the money (i wun b surprised.)
-I accidentally threw them out while packing my desk once in a purple moon during my 1-week break. (If that's true, i'm NEVER packing my desk anymore.. SNIFFFF***)

Tips on how to embarrass yourself in a lingerie shop:

1) Step in with a friend and look around cautiously, careful not to bump into anything.
2) walk around and try to find a "suitable" design and size but to no avail (cos mommy is the one who helped all these while)
3) Check sizes and to one's horror, realise that one doesnt know what size she wears.
4) called mommy to find out the size. note: whisper to avoid unwanted attention. However, after hanging up the phone, found out from friend that the conversation one had with mommy was rather..... loud.
5) grab a bra and search for a shop assistant, whispering, "hi, my size is ___A/B/C/Z, can I know what size do I wear for this design?"
6) waited as quietly as possible for shop assistant (S.A) while she went to check, only to hear---

S.A: "MISS!"
Me: turned around in shock+horror
S.A: "Your size is ___!!!"
Me: thanked S.A, trying not to cringe TOO hard and prayed that face wasnt too red, while the crowd in the shop stared at b**bs simultaneously.

changed of stations.
On one hand, I felt so.... relieved that I dont have to deal with those $%^&*( shits anymore.
On the other hand.... omgomgomg. I'm having problems learning the new duties. Lol. Lucky got my SHIFU (jie ling) with me sia..
And I'm supposed to be able to go home earlier after the change in stations...........
But I'm still learning the ropes, so the first few weeks will be torture and I'll have to go home.. LATE.

SOP (standard operation procedures) when seeing a doctor.

1) Knock on door twice
2) Doc: eh.. pei hui/ms kwok right? what's wrong?
3) me: I have fever blahblahbahhhh
4) sticks a thermometer into ear and takes temperature, usually NOT telling you what temperature body is, only telling you "u have/dont have fever"
5) doc takes stethoscope and listens to heartbeat from the front.. then the back, usually at 2 places on the front and 3-5 different places on ur back.
6) shines torchlight down throat and will only be satisfied when you made a very loud AHHHHH sound.
7) Tells you what they suspect blahblahblah, sometimes using huge words that only they understand.
8) Doc: Didnt go work today? I give you an MC.

Arghhhh. I hate being sick.
Yesterday my poor mommy had to sit beside me for I-dont-know-how-many-hours-cos-I-was-alseep-for-most-of-the-time with a bucket of ice water and a cloth, putting it on my forehead and face and arms.. trying to cool down my body temperature, but to no avail.
When my temperature FINALLY dropped by 2degree, I wanted to jump and give her a hug laa.. lols.

Then this morning.. it came back.. -_- and went away.... and came back to stay in the afternoon.. like wth? Is this some kind of game?
I went to the family doc and woohoo. the things that the doc told me was rather different from the above SOP.
He shone the same old light down my throat and the first thing that he said to me after that was, "pei hui, your fever might be gone now, but it is going to come back."
My reaction?
"OMG you must save me! please tell me how to cure myself can? I'm sick of the fever!"
I think I sound a tiny little bit desperate...? o.O

anyway, the doc suspects that it has smth to do with tonsils getting infected and resulting in fever blahblahblah. He suggested for me to go for an operation to remove the tonsils -_-
Erm. why are all doctors asking me to go op?! The last time was this OTHER doc asking me to go operation for my nose (NO NOT PLASTIC SURGERY, tho my nose is ugly). the operation is to cure my nose bleed prob la.

And so I got another 2-day MC, but im really sick of staying at home and seeing my emails pile up and my work piling up and making my colleagues cover my shit and listening to my mom nag at me when I didnt drink plain water for like, oh, 2.5 mins -_-

Plus (though I dont wanna admit this), I miss my colleagues la! :D

They didnt allow us to bring our cameras in. Yet we could see other people taking pics with their digicams and the staff didnt even bother to tell them to put the cams away -_-

One of my friends wore 3/4s and slippers, which was not allowed. We were (sorta) begging the bouncer (or whatever you call him) to make it an exception, but he wouldn't budge. (understandable). So I asked him if it's possible for them to lend or rent my friend long pants and shoes so he could get into the place. he said no and asked my friend to go home to change.
Like please la. It was 930pm and the concert starts at 10pm -_-
At the same time, the other bouncer was telling my friend that he can deposit $50 so that they can lend him pants and shoes.
Totally different from what the bouncer told me la. To think I was acting so ke lianz.

I had lots of fun travelling to two places to earn the extra dollars.

Nicholas sparks rocks!

Spent the last few hours reading about his novels and about him as well.
omg. I cant believe that Kyle from [The Rescue] is similar to his own son!
And the way that the character (Diana) taught Kyle to speak was how he taught his own son to speak as well. That part in the story brought tears to my eyes. Now, knowing that he wrote the part from his personal experience... omg. Unbelievable. The amount of work he put in... wa.. thinking about it makes me wanna cry la.

I cant wait for his newest novel to be out in end sept. But for it to be sold in sg.. have to wait a couple of weeks, at least -_-
I still havent finished reading the rest of his books.
I can read his books many times and not get tired of it.. especially [a walk to remember.]
I lost a copy since dont-know-when.. but recently bought one again ^-^
Read it for the 4th time today.. and it's still as gooooood~~~~

Today, I shouted "phark" so many times that I lost count.
SO MUCH WORK, too little employees.
Shouldn't the boss do something when almost the whole dept stayed back to clear their work?

I broke down and cry when my mom called me..
Told her that I would be home late cos I need to clear the shit at work..
And she was so concern about me.. asking if i'm alright and all... then I just cried.
I was so afraid that I could not finish my work..
And I know i'm not the only one having that fear..
We've been working as late as 1am in the morning, sometimes even later.
What did we get in the end?
Scoldings from boss cos we didnt do our work well or carefully..
like wtf. how can we do it well when we go home at like, 11pm and come to work at 830am?
there's not enough sleep!!!!

Anyway, my ah bu got mad and asked me not to work late.
She's mad at my boss.. for not caring that we have SO much work and stayed till SO late ALL THE TIME.
I actually approached her just now.. telling her that we have to stay late again to check the #$%^& STUPID SHITS.
SHE DIDNT EVEN CARE LOR. SAID WE HAVE TO DO IT COS the bloody sales people already got approval.

If i were having an arguement with my boss, she'll rebuke that she did tell us not to stay late.
But do you know what her next sentence is?
"dont stay late.. but you have to clear your work before you go."
how contradicting is that?
She even hinted that we talked too much during work, went for lunch for more than an hour, and played games during work.. thus have to stay back to clear our work.
HELLO? WHO WOULD STAY TILL 12AM?!?!??!??! even if we play games, went for 2hr lunch and talk during work, it wun add up to a 6-hour O.T lor.
The best thing is, if we were to shuddup during work, dont play games, and not have any lunch AT ALL, we'll still work O.T.

Tired la =(

I had one of the best ktv sessions last saturday (national day).
We sang, danced.. and basically went crazy~
Kinda sad that we didnt manage to see the fireworks. But nevermind, there's still next week's fireworks festival! :))

Been working late for the past few days (again -_-), and I cant help but wonder if I'm selling my life away to my job. Zzzzz.
It is a problem when almost the whole dept stayed till 11pm just to finish their work.

And omg suddenly all the memories just appeared, as if those stuffs happened one mth ago.
But no, it has been 5 yrs le. haa. Cant believe that time passes by so fast.
Then, I realised that that was the only time I put in alot of my feelings.
and ended up getting hurt over and over again.

Sissy and I combed (almost) the whole Orchard today searching for suitable clothes for kY's bday party.
The reason that I'm trying so hard to fit into the theme he created for the party-- back to school-- is cos he's my best friend and I love him.
Apart from the fact that he'll condemn me if I dont dress appropriately =p
Lol. I'm making kY seem like an evil friend.. hehehehe

So mr kY, please act be touched by my hard work.
I held on till the last moment before I found something that finally, FINALLY, let my sissy nod her head in agreement. whew.
It might not be very back-to-school-ish though =(

At times like this, I'm REALLY REALLY grateful to my dear sissy for accompanying me to buy the clothes even though she has a paper on monday. so touched *sniff*

How can things that happened 3yrs ago suddenly come back and haunt someone?

曹格 concert was superb~
His vocals is.. WOWWWWWWW.
And he's a naturally funny and cute person.
Haha. My only complaints are that the concert is too short and the audience is boring.

I dont deny that I love going to concerts.
It's becoming my new hobby Lol.
A very expensive hobby though.
Therefore I believe in enjoying it to the fullest.. which equals to getting on my feet and waving my lightstick enthusiastically. (relieve stress too =x)
But I have to remember that not all concerts are like Mayday's =(

Take today's concert as an example.. at the whole PA-1 section, only two rows were standing and waving their lightsticks, me included (of cos). I was shaking my butt and dancing and screaming at cao ge, as if I'm his loyal fan. lol. But when I look around me, it was a DEAD city.

Which is kind of sad... =(
But as I said, not all concerts are like Mayday's.. and there are audiences who prefer to just sit down a listen... though I dont understand how they can refrain from getting high along with the singer. lol.

Oh ya, we saw Yang Zhong Wei in the audience! I agree with Baoling jiejie that he's better looking in real person :x Saw local artistes like Felicia Chin and Nat ho too. Kns there was a barrier in between Felicia Chin and me! Or else I'd have requested to take a pic with her! =/

Anyway, I think I'm seriously kok-ed eye -_-
I couldn't spot huining and friends even though they gave me clear directions on where they were seated. The worst thing is, I FORGOT WHERE THE SECTION (a12) WAS LOCATED.
Lol. Some sistic employee I am =/
But I spotted Zhixian though! (after like, 5mins on the phone with him asking where he was. lol)

Ok, concert is over. Nothing nice to look forward to le =(

The world is not as beautiful as I thought after all.
Do I really have to endure these sh*ts for the rest of my life?
Are there going to be more of these people-who-are-not-fit-to-call-themselves-humans coming into my life?

I realised that I had been so protected in the past.
So protected that I thought the evils and ugliness of this world only exist in movies and tv serials.
Okay, i've heard of kns people.. but lucky for me, they were never near me.

But suddenly, these kns people are popping out one by one... and I before I even begin to learn on how to deal with them, they've tried dealing with ME.

I've never liked talking to people whom I dont like, or whom I think are fake.
I would feel very uncomfortable, then I'll just shut up and not talk at all.
But now, I've changed into someone that even I dont like.
I've changed into someone who can joke and laugh with people whom I dislike.
That seriously disgusts me. Okay, you might say it's good.. and I know it is, in a way.
But sometimes, I dont feel like pH anymore... i feel like some.. faker.

And there are so many unfair things lying around.
For eg, Bobo made a mistake. Chacha scolded him severely.
Next, Guru made the SAME mistake. Chacha said, "oh, you must have overlooked it accidentally.. it's ok. it's not your fault."
Even the dumbest asshole alive knows that this is BIASNESS.
But hello? Where is justice? Equality?
They really should carve (part of) the singapore pledge on their foreheads.
And the worst thing is, no one can't speak up for bobo.
Cos even I, the next-to-dumbest-asshole-alive know that obviously chacha will stand by bobo, through thick and thin, through fat and skinny.

Sometimes, I really feel like shouting "CUT! Stop acting anymore. We know u're bias so stop finding excuses, a**hol**!!" to those people.

But can I? NO. I have to bloody learn how to accept all these and PRETEND NTH IS GOING ON.

And the above is just one example. If I were to list down all, I would be typing till my 22nd bday liao.

And to this "special" someone out there: Stop being so sensitive to think that people are picking on you when WE ARE SO BUSY THAT WE DUN EVEN HAVE TIME TO FART, let alone find time to pick on you.




If this is what growing up is like, I want to go back to the past.

I'm soo lucky to have a bunch of crazy colleagues.. though we do bitch abit too much sometimes =P

We're moving our office in one week, and soon we'll all smell like greasy canteen food.. which sucks. Plus the new office is SOOOO far away from the sales office and the conty... I bet i'll lose 20kg in no time at all from all the running back and forth -_-

Life after I become an adult

Technically speaking, I'm only officially an adult for 2 weeks.
Nothing much has changed =/
I'm still busy with work and hanging out with friends.. and I'm still tired most of the time.. -_-

Last saturday was one of the most eventful days I've had.
Woke up E-A-R-L-Y and went to work.
After that, went to lunch and shop with 3 hotbabes =P
Super fun! but OMG I spent $200 la -_-|||
Smart me took out all the price tags before showing my ah bu the things I bought.. or else she'll confirm scold me de.. =x
After shopping, went to meet the rest for dinner.. and we proceeded to TCC for drinks and a mini bday celebration for LYY ;)
Halfway through the games, I left to meet rl, yq and jcp for overnight ktv session!
Special thanks to the 3 of them for agreeing to go K with me though they were starting to show signs of sore throats and flu.. which turned into full-blown sore throats at the end of the session :p

And I promise that I'll never do this kind of overnight ktv EVER again. (erm.. maybe for the next few weeks la =/)
it was.. SUPER TIRING!!!
I slept the whole sunday away... shiok =D

It has been a long time since tears flow out of my eyes like a... flowing river (duh).
I think I've cried enough to fill a reservoir.
Ok la, dont exaggerate, it's only enough to fill a small pond. a very small one. o.o

I didn't want to cry.. but I really can't help it..
I tried holding back the tears.. taking in deep breaths and all...
but it doesnt help. AT ALL.

[Sky of love] can really make me cry sia.
The storyline is super predictable.
I mean, one look at the synopsis and you'll know the ending.
Till now, I still dont know why I shed so much tears over the show. lol.

The worst thing is, it's as if I tore my tear glands and tears jus keep flowing for little reasons.
I mean, sex and the city is nice and touching and all, but why did I cry?
And something happened just now that I predicted one week ago..
and that made me cry as well. haiz.

Note to self: drink more water to replenish the loss.

The past weekend had been filled with --曹格--.
Haha I can't believe I actually went to all his events when I'm not even a fan of his. =/
It's cos of bao ling jiejie then I go de ok~
Sigh, I'm such a great friend =P

On Friday, waited for 曹格 and managed to snapped a pic with him!
I'm too lazy to upload the photo though... will do it... 5yrs later =P

On saturday, bao ling jiejie and I waited almost 3.5 hours before he finally arrived.
Before that were some jak-pa-lang singers (no offence ar!) which made 曹格 seems like.. 神.
lol. But the CHAMPION band is not bad wor. 毕竟他们是滚石的...不会烂到哪里去.
wahahha~

I have to admit that 曹格 has a SUPERB voice!!
The 背叛 and My Way totally blew me away.
And trust me, with my weight and size, it's not easy to blow me away ok.
HAHA.

And he's just SO--- high.
He requested to sing among the audience la.. which made everyone around me scream like mad. haha. and no, I didnt scream like mad, cos he's not masa =x

On sunday, BLJJ and I went all the way to IMM for the autograph session.
This time, he DID weave through the audience while he was singing 起床歌..
He didnt sing 爱爱 though... saddening..
But his SUPERWOMAN 清唱 was.... -speechless-

Of course, mayday is still the best =)

crisis at work

Technically speaking, today is Friday!~~~
TGIF. From the bottom of my heart.
Especially after this week.. without bao ling jiejie doing class with me.
The stress is.. #$%^&*(.
I really wonder how she survived T.T
神就是神 Lol.

I just survived a crisis at work.
With maggie of course.. maggie is really our 救星 and 天使.. what will we do without her?!
Anyway, the worst thing is.. I was at home when I received the news on the crisis.
Was cursing and swearing when I took cab back to the coy... but everything turns out to be better than I thought!~
For the first time, I watched the people load the audio into the system.. which is kinda cool.
And their trimming skills is like, SUPERB. Done in a blink of an eye.
I guess they're used to it cos it's their job (duh), but it still amazes me to the max. haha.

I've been coming home quite early these few days.. despite the amount of work piled up on my desk. lol.
Feels SO shuang to be able to bathe at 8pm, watch tv at 9pm and go online at 10pm.. AH~
I love this feeling man.

After tons of calls and call-tranfers, I finally got to talk to the customer service assistant on the booking of function room at XXX chalet.

me: Hi, Can I check if the room is available on XX june for XX people?

Her: Yup it is.

me (excited): what are the rates?? From 7pm onwards

Her (chirpy tone): $550, after GST will be $588.50.

Me (thinking): WA BIANGZ! Why so ex?! the room made of gold ar?

Me (VERY calmly, as if people quote me this kind of price every day): okay, I'll check first and get back to you.

Her: No problem, you can call me at XXXXXXXX.



zzz. obviously I havent checked a function room's rates before.
Heartache leh... SO EX @_@
But I'm proud to say that I didn't freak out when she told me how much it is. lol

pH the bully =/

For the first time in MONTHS, someone called my house looking for me twice in a night.

It all started with dankor (OMG i havent call him that in a looong time) calling my hp. I didnt pick up. Then he redialled but somehow accidentally called my house phone. (dont ask me how he did it... this person never ceases to amaze me. lol)

To his suay-ness, my sissy picked up the call.

HAHHAHA. Those who dont know my Sissy, she can be very cold at times.. erm, make that most of the time.. ice princess zzz.

And dankor called her peihui. HAHHAHHA.

Luckily she didnt bite his head off =P

She just told him (coldly) that pH is not at home.

After I returned his call, I made him call me back (free incoming ma =/) and due to some miscommunication, he called my house instead (AGAIN!) and guess who picked up the call?

LOL.

Ultimate suay-ness.

HAHA. at least that had me laughing through the night :D
