After tons of calls and call-tranfers, I finally got to talk to the customer service assistant on the booking of function room at XXX chalet.
me: Hi, Can I check if the room is available on XX june for XX people?
Her: Yup it is.
me (excited): what are the rates?? From 7pm onwards
Her (chirpy tone): $550, after GST will be $588.50.
Me (thinking): WA BIANGZ! Why so ex?! the room made of gold ar?
Me (VERY calmly, as if people quote me this kind of price every day): okay, I'll check first and get back to you.
Her: No problem, you can call me at XXXXXXXX.
zzz. obviously I havent checked a function room's rates before.
Heartache leh... SO EX @_@
But I'm proud to say that I didn't freak out when she told me how much it is. lol
