of doctors and sickness

SOP (standard operation procedures) when seeing a doctor.

1) Knock on door twice
2) Doc: eh.. pei hui/ms kwok right? what's wrong?
3) me: I have fever blahblahbahhhh
4) sticks a thermometer into ear and takes temperature, usually NOT telling you what temperature body is, only telling you "u have/dont have fever"
5) doc takes stethoscope and listens to heartbeat from the front.. then the back, usually at 2 places on the front and 3-5 different places on ur back.
6) shines torchlight down throat and will only be satisfied when you made a very loud AHHHHH sound.
7) Tells you what they suspect blahblahblah, sometimes using huge words that only they understand.
8) Doc: Didnt go work today? I give you an MC.

Arghhhh. I hate being sick.
Yesterday my poor mommy had to sit beside me for I-dont-know-how-many-hours-cos-I-was-alseep-for-most-of-the-time with a bucket of ice water and a cloth, putting it on my forehead and face and arms.. trying to cool down my body temperature, but to no avail.
When my temperature FINALLY dropped by 2degree, I wanted to jump and give her a hug laa.. lols.

Then this morning.. it came back.. -_- and went away.... and came back to stay in the afternoon.. like wth? Is this some kind of game?
I went to the family doc and woohoo. the things that the doc told me was rather different from the above SOP.
He shone the same old light down my throat and the first thing that he said to me after that was, "pei hui, your fever might be gone now, but it is going to come back."
My reaction?
"OMG you must save me! please tell me how to cure myself can? I'm sick of the fever!"
I think I sound a tiny little bit desperate...? o.O

anyway, the doc suspects that it has smth to do with tonsils getting infected and resulting in fever blahblahblah. He suggested for me to go for an operation to remove the tonsils -_-
Erm. why are all doctors asking me to go op?! The last time was this OTHER doc asking me to go operation for my nose (NO NOT PLASTIC SURGERY, tho my nose is ugly). the operation is to cure my nose bleed prob la.

And so I got another 2-day MC, but im really sick of staying at home and seeing my emails pile up and my work piling up and making my colleagues cover my shit and listening to my mom nag at me when I didnt drink plain water for like, oh, 2.5 mins -_-

Plus (though I dont wanna admit this), I miss my colleagues la! :D
Oh man AND I MISSED TODAY's CHICKEN RICE SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!
I totally hate my sick meals..... roarrrrrrrr.
I was staring at the pizza hut special promo today till my saliva dripped out la! (just kidding).
But it looked SOoooo appetizing!!!!!
25th nov hahhaa. im so gonna FEAST (with moderation of cos. I dun wan fever to come haunting me AGAIN)

BUT HOR I THINK I LOST WEIGHT LEH!
Is it smth to be happy about? aahhahhahhaha.
Ok think onlyi not accurate. let me go weigh myself now.
